We wanted to commend Lore Phelps, your sales associate, on her excellent
service on our behalf as she helped us navigate through some
difficult passages of selling our home and purchasing another. We
encountered our buyer's government loan being denied only weeks before
closing (but salvaged), damages that mysteriously occurred while our house
was inspected, an appraisal that almost didn't get done, and a closing date
that changed at least three times, to name only a few! That may be common
fare for real estate agents, but was pretty harrowing for us!
Many times
through these tense situations I told my husband that I felt like dropping
bouquets of roses on the lawn of every "For Sale by Owner" sign I saw,
because they had far better nerves and brains than I do. I would never be
able to handle all the myriad details of coordinating the simultaneous sale
of our home arid purchase of a new one. Lore had to make hundreds of phone
calls and go to bat for us over and over. She always kept us informed of our
progress (and set-backs) and was tenacious and determined to "get behind"
people and get things done that otherwise would have languished. She worked
hard, even through days that she didn't feel well at all.
Lore was
friendly and exhibited a caring, personal interest in our lives and the
things we wanted for our homeownership, It felt really strange when. after
both closings were done, my phone didn't ring every day with Lore on the
other end! We greatly appreciate her time and energy on our behalf. I know
that we couldn't have done it without her and we will recommend her to
friends and family that may sell or look for a. home in the future.
